Position Summary:

Segue Technologies, Inc. seeks a Java/JavaEE Developer for a full time contract position in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities include web service and data transformation development using current Java technologies including IBM WebSphere, WS-Notification, WS-Reliable Messaging, and other OASIS standards, requirements documentation, and system testing. The project is a data mining system used by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) in support of troop readiness levels across all services.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Web service and data transformation development using current Java/JavaEE technologies
  • Requirements documentation
  • System testing

Education & Experience Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 4+ yeas of Java/JavaEE development experience required
  • 6+ years general software development experience strongly preferred
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the development, testing and implementation of JavaEE applications
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Web Services, IBM WebSphere, and OASIS standards
  • Minimum Required: DoD Secret Security Clearance
