Senior Requirements Analyst

Position Summary:

Segue Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Requirements Analyst. The Senior Requirements Analyst will provide high-level and detailed elicitation, definition, documentation, traceability, and management of requirements for web-based systems supporting various federal and commercial customers throughout the lifecycle of the application.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with multiple customers and other stakeholders to determine application requirements, from concept through maintenance.
• Analyze stakeholder input to infer additional requirements beyond those explicitly stated.
• Record requirements through a formal, logical process in order to provide appropriate specifications to developers, which satisfy the customer’s business processes.
• Create visual guides (charts, diagrams, spreadsheets, etc.) to enhance the requirements documentation.
• Collaborate with members of the Development and Quality Control teams to work towards a common understanding of requirements completeness.
• Support customer briefings and demonstrations as necessary.
• Generate system interface requirements and specifications for automated data exchange with external applications.
• Conduct research and document findings relating to future development alternatives and enhanced system features.
• Provide leadership and consultation on requirements gathering techniques and methods to others.

Education & Experience

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel.
• Experience with formal requirements management software such as TestTrack RM, DOORS, Requisite Pro, or similar products.
• Demonstrated experience working with DoD, Federal/State/Local, or enterprise-level requirements.
• Ability to apply formal procedures (requirements, verification, QA, other high-level processes) through all stages of application development.
• Knowledge of system design techniques, including functional specifications, testing procedures/documentation, etc.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles and methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education & Experience:

• At least five years of experience, with two or more years as a senior technical business analyst in a leadership role.
• Ability to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject area is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
