Brian W. Callahan
President and CEO

Mr. Callahan provides leadership, strategic direction, and vision for Segue Technologies. He also provides management and oversight of several major contracts.

Mr. Callahan has more than 15 years of experience supporting Department of Defense programs and information technology solutions. He has managed complex software development efforts, Pentagon IT support operations, and business intelligence implementations. Before moving into the IT field, Mr. Callahan provided budget, financial, and manpower analysis for Headquarters Air Force, including support to the Nuclear Posture Review (NPR).

Prior to starting his corporate career, Mr. Callahan served in the United States Army in the 75th Ranger Regiment and in the 12th Special Forces Group, Army Reserves.

Mr. Callahan holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Master's of Science degree in Environment Sciences from the Johns Hopkins University.

Mike Behrmann
Executive Vice President

Mr. Behrmann is an expert on software development and design methodologies, database architectures, and emerging Internet and enterprise-computing technologies. He has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry. He began his career as a computer programmer in the mainframe environment during the early 1980s and transitioned through the DOS and MS Windows evolution to the web development choices of today. Mr. Behrmann's roles have included software engineer, database architect, and project and program manager. He spent 17 years with the CNA Corporation and three years with Cost Management Systems before coming to Segue Technologies in 1998.

As Vice President, Software Development, Mr. Behrmann oversees Segue's corporate software development processes, quality assurance program, and major system implementations.

Ron Novak
Executive Vice President

Mr. Novak has more than 11 years of experience in a broad range of information technology disciplines. His project portfolio includes web application design and development, network security and engineering, and project and program management. Mr. Novak has managed several large scale federal software development efforts for the Air Force, Air National Guard, Marine Corps, and the National Guard Bureau. Mr. Novak has leveraged his federal government IT experience to lead Segue into the commercial sector, providing IT solutions for clients in several industries.

As Executive Vice President, Mr. Novak is responsible for overseeing Segue's commercial web application development efforts and growing revenue and market share within this arena.

Mr. Novak holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and several industry certifications, including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA).

Mark Shapiro
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Shapiro has more than 15 years of information technology experience. He has successfully managed and developed a number of software application systems for the Department of Defense and other U.S. government customers. He began working at Segue Technologies in 1998, having previously worked for American Communications Company and Computer Sciences Corporation. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from George Mason University, a Master's degree in Software Engineering, and certifications in Delphi, ColdFusion, and CMMI. Mr. Shapiro has successfully developed and managed business applications for the Air Force and Marine Corps, as well as numerous other small projects.

As CTO, Mr. Shapiro is responsible for oversight of software development environments and the software development process and workflow.

Rob Merenyi, PhD
Chief Strategy Officer

Dr. Merenyi has more than 25 years of information technology experience. His work has included analysis, strategy, research, and business development for the design, implementation, and maintenance of large, system-of-systems, federal agency programs. He joined Segue Technologies in 2008, with previous positions at BAE Systems, Lotus Software, GTE Laboratories, Concentra, and The Analytic Sciences Corporation (TASC). In addition, Dr. Merenyi successfully founded CogniMed, a healthcare software provider, which is now a part of Aetna Insurance Company.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Dr. Merenyi provides business development expertise for Segue's portfolio of advanced technologies and customer-support solutions.

Dr. Merenyi's degree is in Physics from Tufts University and has received the Air Force Recognition of Excellence for his work with the Single Integrated Air Picture Program (SIAP).
