Segue was awarded a contract to provide Enterprise Software Engineering of a scholarship submission and tracking system for the Gates Millennium Scholarship Program (GMSP) of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), established in 1999 via a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, to promote academic excellence and provide an opportunity for outstanding minority students to reach their highest potential. Under this contract, Segue will replace the existing systems that facilitate the GMSP scholarship application process and provide a foundation for the integration of additional programs in the future. The Segue developed system will focus on operational efficiency, data security and integrity, and the ability to adapt to emergent technologies such as mobile devices.

“Segue has been honored to have worked with the UNCF and GMSP for the past two years, supporting their mission of extending opportunities for higher education to underprivileged scholars” Said Ron Novak, Segue Executive Vice President. “We are excited for the opportunity to apply our knowledge of the UNCF-GMSP mission and their existing IT environment in providing a modern and scalable enterprise system to serve their mission now and in the future.”
