Segue Technologies® was awarded a task order to redevelop the interfaces between the National Park Service’s Maximo-based Facilty Management Software System (FMSS) and the DOI’s SAP-based Financial and Business Management System (FBMS). These interfaces will be developed using the Maximo Enterprise Adapter (MEA), and will ensure the accurate and routine exchange of information between the two systems and streamline financial management processes.

The Parks Facility Management Division (PFMD) is responsible for the operations mission, encompassing a wide range of facilities programs, of the National Park Service (NPS). The program managers of these programs require varying degrees of information management to gather data for reporting purposes to the Secretary of the Department of the Interior, Office of Management and Budget and the U.S. Congress. Under this BPA contract, Segue supports PFMD under multiple task orders with cross-functional teams capable of delivering IT support services per NPS operational requirements. Segue’s personnel work on-site with necessary security clearance for access, as well as from Segue offices.

About the National Park Service (NPS)

The National Park Service is a bureau of the Department of the Interior. Since 1916, the American people have entrusted the NPS with the care of their national parks. With the help of volunteers and park partners, the NPS is proud to safeguard these nearly 400 places and to share their stories with more than 275 million visitors every year. Tribes, local governments, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and individual citizens seek the help of the NPS in revitalizing their communities, preserving local history, celebrating local heritage, and creating close to home opportunities for kids and families to get outside, be active, and have fun.
