Website Launch: Sonoma Chicken

Segue Technologies has launched an updated website for our client, Sonoma Chicken. This award-winning San Jose, California based restaurant franchise combines fast-casual dining with the quality of a full service restaurant. Their success has been based on combining fresh ingredients with a pleasant dining atmosphere inspired by the California wine country.

Sonoma Chicken was seeking to update their web presence in support of their franchising efforts. They needed a new website design to match their new store look as well as features to support customers seeking information about their restaurants, and for potential franchisees seeking information on joining the Sonoma brand.

Segue updated the website graphic design in combination with a back-end content management system built in Drupal using PHP and MySQL. The new site features an Events Calendar as well as a Store Locator integrated with Google Maps. Segue also designed the new site with a focus on usability, incorporating clean URLs to improve searchability and linking. A particularly innovative feature for this franchise website is the addition of Homepages that are editable by each of their individual stores. The result is a fresh and dynamic website that matches the Sonoma brand and supports their growth from both client and investor standpoints.
