Headquarters US Air Force A1MR, has awarded Segue Technologies a follow-on contract to continue performing maintenance and development support for the Productivity Enhancing Capital Investment (PECI) program. PECI provides funding and oversight for productivity improvement projects at Air Force bases worldwide. These projects range in scope from simple cost/energy saving ideas such as use of low-energy light bulbs, to large-scale innovations that deliver measurable and positive return on investment year after year. In the past five years, PECI has generated a total savings of $2.6 billion, from investments of $53.6 million.

Segue has provided software development and support, as well as business process support to the PECI program since 1998. Under this follow-on contract, Segue will continue to provide the same comprehensive IT support that A1MR has become accustomed to over the past 11 years, and additionally will perform redesign, redevelopment, and rehosting of the PECI Program Data System.

In response to the award, Segue President Brian W. Callahan said, “Segue is pleased to continue our work with the Air Force PECI program. Our support of the PECI system enables PECI program managers to focus on initiatives that result in substantial cost savings throughout the Air Force.”
