Advanced Allergy Therapeutics
The Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT) software by Allertek is a breakthrough technology that eliminates the reactions from most forms of allergies and sensitivities. Rather than simply addressing the symptoms, AAT treats the problem at its source by retraining the body so that it no longer reacts inappropriately to a harmless substance. AAT merges 21st century science and technology with 3,000-year-old Traditional Acupuncture principles in offering an effective alternative in the treatment of allergies and sensitivities.
Allertek needed to update their therapy management software for a new generation of licensed partner clinics. Although their legacy system allowed clinicians to effectively administer treatment, the application was complicated and required extensive user training. In addition, Allertek needed a system that could be distributed internationally. The new therapy management system would need to provide a more positive user experience for a diverse group of practitioners.
Segue Technologies engineered a complete redesign and redevelopment of Allertek's therapy management software. The new system integrates a professional look-and-feel with intuitive user interface components. It is written in ASP/.NET and supported by a performance optimized, high-availability database.
Using industry best practices for localization enabled support of multiple languages with add-in libraries for expansion to new dialects. This flexible model minimized initial development time while simplifying the addition of other languages in the future.
