Sonoma Chicken Coop is a growing restaurant chain based in San Jose, CA. The hope to expand their business across the U.S. with new franchises of their very popular restaurants. To help accomplish this goal, they recognized the need to improve their brand image and update their web presence dramatically.
Sonoma was unhappy with their previous website. They felt it was uninspired and unable to accurately reflect the quality and character of their restaurants. To improve these areas, they wished to retain their logo, but replace all previous design and content. Their goal was to create a modern and fresh website that captured the essence of the company while providing useful information to customers and potential franchisees.
Sonoma turned to Segue Technologies to redesign and redevelop their web presence according to their vision. Segue began the project by getting to know the Sonoma brand; reviewing their restaurant setup, menu, photographs, and interviewing key personnel. Next, Segue created a selection of graphic design concepts for the new website. Each design provided a different look and feel that represented the spirit of the brand while employing modern aesthetics and techniques. Segue then worked closely with Sonoma to refine their chosen design further, resulting in an innovative and elegant product that matches their vision for their franchise.
