About the Client

The Deport Maintenance Accounting and Production System (DMAPS) is an integrated data system established in 1998 to enhance the Air Force Materiel Command’s (AFMC) legislative compliance by improving management of depot maintenance costs for labor, material, and overhead while complying with mandates of the Financial Management Modernization Program.

The Challenge

DMAPS supports 33,000 users and over 190 interfaces across the three Air Logistics Complexes. The system was in need of maintenance and sustainment support including:

  • IT/Systems Life Cycle Management Support using tailored Business and Enterprise System (BES) Process Directory (BPD)
  • SME Coordination Support
  • Business Analysis/Requirements Management Support
  • Software Requirements, Review, Testing
  • Configuration Management
  • Enterprise Architects and Engineering Support
  • Risk Management
  • Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Support
  • Coordinating User Support
  • DISA Liaison on Production/Operational Issues

The Solution

Segue provides the Subject Matter Expertise (SME) required to efficiently and effectively manage the geographically dispersed, cross-functional DMAPS suite of systems and meet the high release and operational demands of the DMAPS five subcomponents: (1) Defense Industrial Financial Management System (DIFMS), (2) Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Industrial Material Management System (NIMMS), (3) Automated Bill of Materials (ABOM), (4) Time and Attendance (TAA), and (5) Integration Engine (IE).
