In November, Segue attended the AFLCMC/HI Business Enterprise Systems (BES) PEO Vendor Industry Day. The meeting was hosted on Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base (AFB), in Montgomery, Alabama. The BES PEO is a USAF IT Center of Excellence and the Business Systems they support numbers well over 100. Government representatives from the HIA, HIB, HIC, and C3I&N Divisions presented briefings to update pending acquisitions to programs including MOSS III, IMDS CDB, ABSS, ICSS, EITDR, IGEMS, and DCAPES. In addition, there were opportunities for vendors to meet one-on-one with division leaders. It was immediately clear from the briefings that the USAF is feeling the intense budget constraints that the entire Federal Government is currently struggling with. Nonetheless, this PEO still has an ample budget and intends to compete a great deal of work in 2014. Their contract vehicle of choice is NETCENTS-2. Most of the service areas have been awarded, with a couple pending resolutions of size standard protest.

Segue is a prime contract holder for the NETCENTS-2 Application Services Small Business Companion and has seen roughly 40 RFQs issued in this area over the last year. The USAF is clearly committed to using NETCENTS-2 and industry should look for significant activity on this vehicle going forward.

Segue has built a broad and deep team of partners, but is always looking for solid, qualified partners that bring capability to the team. To engage Segue visit the Segue NETCENTS-2 PMO page.
