AFRL Enterprise Business System (EBS)
About the Client
The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Enterprise Business System (EBS) integrates business management systems (processes and enabling tools). EBS leverages custom Government and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (GOTS/COTS) information technology (IT) tools and applications to complete the transformation of the full range of business functions involved in Air Force science and technology management. EBS capabilities/applications fall into one of four major categories – Financial Management, Integrated Project and Portfolio Management, Business Intelligence and Enterprise Information Management.
The government sought an experienced Small Business with extensive application development and support experience for EBS. The program was in need of support and development, including program office support, requirement analysis, database administration, application development, testing, and configuration management of the EBS tool suite. The Air Force was seeking technical support to design, develop, document, and test custom GOTS/COTS Applications. Through market research, the government determined that the AF NETCENTS-2 Application Solutions, Small Business (ASSB) IDIQ contract was an appropriate vehicle to gain the contractor support they needed.
Segue’s team provides program office support, requirement analysis, database administration, application development, testing, and configuration management of the EBS tool suite. This support also includes designing, developing, documenting and testing custom COTS/GOTS applications. Segue supports EBS with a cohesive team made up of a range of technical experts, to meet each of the EBS mission requirements.
