About the Client

TRANSCOM Reference Data Management (TRDM) is an enterprise reference data repository managed by USTRANSCOM. TRDM facilitates interoperability through the centralized management and distribution of reference data tables derived from hundreds of authoritative sources for USTRANSCOM and its Transportation Component Commands (TCCs): Air Mobility Command (AMC), Military Sealift Command (MSC), Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) and other Department of Defense (DoD) communities. TRDM provides a single distribution source of enterprise reference data for enhancing command and control (C2), transportation, logistics, deployment, and financial systems’ reference data management and functional data collection. The reference data management process is consistent with the Information Reference Model (IRM) manual as published by USTRANSCOM/J6. The TRDM Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for providing and interpreting USTRANSCOM policy as it applies to TRDM.

The Challenge

Segue Technologies®, and partner FreeAlliance, are challenged to provide on-site support services that contribute directly to the management and distribution of reference data for USTRANSCOM. Our team performs specialized systems engineering, cloud migration support, software development, system administration, cybersecurity, and technical support of TRDM, as well as the distribution of the TRDM-maintained data. Additionally, the team completes requirements analysis, functional data collection, command reference data management to support data validation across system interfaces, reference data distribution implementation, fielding, planning, integrated release scheduling, system interoperability testing (SIT) support, integrated test plan documentation, and reference data distribution.
