Segue Technologies® was awarded a contract to continue providing IT services for the Secretary of the Air Force Air Force, Acquisition Training Office (AFATO).
The AFATO maintains the Acquisition Career Management System (ACMS), which supports the implementation of the Acquisition Personnel Development Program and the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act of 1990. The AFATO requires technical expertise to complement the existing civilian work force that comprises the ACMS team. Segue’s incumbent team, with proven experience and specific knowledge and capability for this work, demonstrated the best value to perform this vital work.
System modernization is a Segue core competency, and Segue will provide technical expertise in the areas of web/software development, system/database administration and cybersecurity for all current and future ACMS information technology initiatives. Support activities consist of analysis, design, documenting, developing and maintaining public and private websites and web-based information systems, assisting in the management and administration of operating systems and relational databases and assisting in cybersecurity and information security requirements.
