DOI Indian Affairs Chooses Segue to Support Facilities Management Maximo System

Department of the Interior (DOI) – Indian Affairs (IA) awarded Segue Technologies the contract to support enterprise deployment of the Indian Affairs-Facilities Management System (IA-FMS) and related applications. IA-FMS is an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system developed in IBM Maximo. Segue was chosen for the combination of our expertise in systems design, architecture and Maximo development and modernization. In addition, Segue has supported DOI customers and the Facilities Management System for over 7 years, combining knowledge of the DOI mission with experience developing and sustaining this key enterprise system.

Segue’s IA project team will provide project management, technical and functional support services including system and application development, business practice development, strategic visioning, and other technical support services related to asset management, IA-FMS business applications, IBM Maximo, cost estimation and integrations with external applications.

Segue Technologies has a robust Maximo service offering. Our support teams have performed Maximo enterprise asset management (EAM) related work at various federal government agencies including the National Park Service (NPS) Parks Facilities Management Division (PFMD). Segue developed an interface to link Maximo and the Financial Business Management System (FBMS) and converted hundreds of Total Resource Management (TRM) rules to Maximo automation scripts to offer cost efficiencies and match NPS business needs. Segue has also performed several Maximo version upgrades and provided an unsurpassed level of service.
