17th Annual Air Force IT Day Take Away

Segue attended the AFCEA NOVA 17th Annual Air, Space, and Cyber IT Day in D.C. as the keynote, William Marion II Deputy Chief, Information Dominance and Deputy Chief Information Officer shared the Air Force’s top four priorities in IT.

  1. The Network We Need (Not the network we funded)
  2. Cybersecurity That Works (Not Cybersecurity that is compliant)
  3. Vibrant and Ready Cyber Airmen
  4. Empower Mission Transformation

The Air Force seems to be all in on Agile DevOps and looking for vendors to bring them unified services.  Mr. Marion would like to see contractors partnering with others to deliver end to end solutions, strongly pushing cloud and mobile solutions.
