What Do You Like About Segue?
I love the atmosphere at Segue. The culture. The people I work with are top notch in their fields and just generally nice people. We seem to get a lot done in a short time and I feel that has to do with the feeling of teamwork here at Segue.
How Did Segue Contribute to Your Professional Growth?
I continue to take online classes in areas of interest to keep current. Most recently in Amazon Web Services, but SQL Server, Java, and JavaScript training in the past.
In Your Opinion, Why Should Others Apply to Work at Segue?
Once again, the culture. Segue is just a great place to work with great people.
What is Segue for You?
Beyond the obvious answer of “steady paycheck”, which I think everyone appreciates, the UMD5 team is like a second family to me.
What is Your Greatest Achievement at Segue?
Greatest Achievement? This is it! My time has come! But I also can’t recall rolling back a major change in UMD5. I credit the process we go through to ensure quality code makes it into production. That is also a part of the culture here. The QA team has saved me from myself multiple times.
